Bryan Warzek

Congratulations to former Hayner Academy student and Hayner Academy Barnstormers player Bryan Warzek on his 6th round selection by the Los Angeles Dodgers! Bryan began doing lessons at The Sports Barn at age 9. He later played for the Hayner Academy Barnstormers in 2014 and 2015.

Bryan Warzek

Bryan Warzek is currently completing an outstanding sophomore year at The University of New Orleans.  Bryan currently sports a 7-3 record with a 2.18 ERA.  In 13 starts he has pitched 86.2 innings, allowed only 71 hits, walked 28 and struck out 80.  In his young career Bryan has made starts at LSU and at University of Texas.  In Summer 2016 Bryan pitched for the Glens Falls Dragons of the Perfect Game League and finished second in the league in strikeouts.  Bryan began taking pitching lessons at the Hayner Academy when he was nine years old!  Bryan competed for the Barnstormers in 2014 and 2015.

Brett Rodriguez

Brett Rodriguez is currently completing an outstanding freshmen season at Division I Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC. Brett was recently named to the Southland Conference All Freshmen Team!  After 44 games including 24 starts, Brett is hitting .304 with 3 doubles, 3 triples and a home run at Clemson.  Brett is also 12/12 in the stolen base department.  This summer Brett will be playing for the Elmira Pioneers in the Perfect Game League.  Brett played for the Barnstormers in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

John Barnes

John Barnes is completing an outstanding junior year at Oswego State.    As of this writing, Oswego is on there way to their first ever NCAA Division III College World Series after capturing the New Regional Championship.  John is the starting right fielder and is currently hitting .306 with 6 doubles, 2 triples, 5 home runs and 27 RBI's and 12 stolen bases.  John competed for the Barnstormers in 2014 and was one of our top hitters and pitchers.

kyle Chambers

Kyle Chambers is currently completing an outstanding sophomore campaign for St. John Fisher College.  Kyle was recently named to the Empire 8 All Conference Second Team.  On the season Kyle was 1-2 with 5 saves for the 30-10 Cardinals.  In 29 innings pitched Kyle has allowed 27 hits with 13 BB and 36 strikeouts.  The 18th ranked Cardinals are competing in the NCAA Division III New England Regional.  Kyle pitched for the Barnstormers in Summer 2015.
